Many thanks for your friendly mail of September.
Yes, we have had very fine holidays and we returned relaxed. We felt well in your lovely Mas
and we enjoyed the landscape, the weather, wine from Laudun and Chusclan,
the small towns, speaking French, the meals prepared by ourselves or in the restaurants, fishing with
our friend …. We saw Portes,
Chamborigaud, Alès, Uzès, St. Ambroix, Anduze, La Garde
Guerin, le Chaos de Montpellier le Vieux, la Causse Mejean, les Gorges
de la Jonte, la Grotte de Trabuc and some
more. Very original it was, to dine at Mas
du Seigneur near Chamborigaud. I took
more than 200 photos and our friend – a professional photographer – about 150 in only five days. (Mr Erwert from
"We really enjoyed our stay at
your charming place. It was comfortable and had everything we needed. The contrast with the other place we rented was striking.
We really appreciated how organised you were in arranging the booking and the obvious attention to details in the house". (Virginia, USA) "We all
absolutely adored Mas des Grailles. After 10 years of visiting France and staying in gites in various areas I would say that
Mas des Grailles was the best we have stayed in. All the necessary facilities, great balconies, great weather, lovely and
peaceful. You certainly have a gem of a property." "Many,
many thanks for a wonderful time in your mas. We all enjoyed the peace and tranquility and the abundant space to each do our
own thing! The area is stunning and we had some great days out driving off the beaten track. I was very reluctant to
leave." "We had a wonderful time at Portes. It is generously
equipped & feels more like someone else's home (which of course it is...). We often talked about that and your obvious generosity and trust. I hope it made us even more careful about
the way we treated the fabric, furnishings and facilities. We saw a family of 5 sanglier piglets who seem to come every
day...the house was spotless when we arrived...we loved our week and felt privileged that you allowed us to share your precious
Cevenol home. Thank you very much". "We had a wonderful
holiday. The house was great, we loved it and it felt like a home and not like a house for rent...we will certainly recommend
it". | |
